African Capacity Matters (ACM) is an organization dedicated to and fully engaged in the use of innovative approaches in building-up and effectively utilizing Sub-Saharan Africa's own human capabilities and institutional capacities for efficient and effective management of the region's development processes, specifically for job and wealth creation, poverty reduction, political stability, economic growth and social justice. The mission of ACM is two-fold: (i) to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of capacity building efforts, namely, the development of human capability and enhancement of institutional capacity for improved citizen-oriented service delivery and productivity enhancement in both the public and the private sector; (ii) to support the sustainability of its clients local efforts on capacity building, retention and utilization for national development and elimination of dependency on foreign aid, in particular, technical assistance. |
